Asana — Tejal Patel

Tejal (she/her/hers) is a first-generation Indian American yoga teacher, writer, podcaster, and community organizer. Tejal aims to educate and empower individuals and communities around the world by advocating for yoga through a social justice lens. She founded Tejal Yoga, a revolutionary virtual South Asian teacher-led yoga community focused on social justice actions and authentic, culturally-rooted yoga-based practices. She is co-lead of the Yoga is Dead Team which offers a podcast questioning who and what killed yoga, workshops and training about cultural appropriation, and live events about the issues with modern yoga.  She created the abcdyogi village, an interactive, global community where South Asian yoga & mindfulness teachers offer education to all students.

Kirtan — Kamini Natarajan

Kamini is a Kirtan and Indian Classical Singer based in LA area. She blends Mantras and Chants with Indian Ragas to create Kirtans that are traditional and extremely meditative. Her Kirtans are composed in specific Ragas that leave the participants feeling serene. She is also the author of Kirtan eBook Indian Ragas for Kirtans. Kamini’s Kirtans bring out her deep spiritual background. They are extremely mystical and magnificently divine. People are left mesmerized by her angelic voice, her intricate improvisations, her odd meter rhythms and most importantly her radiant warm smile. Breathwork — Ariana Fotinakis

Ariana Fotinakis is a trauma-informed somatic coach, breathwork facilitator, and devout student of Nature. An Indigenous woman from the Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Ariana is also a business coach and works to support individuals who want to change the world through their work, their art, or their community. By blending science, spirit, and soul, Ariana helps her clients reconnect to the unique medicine within them that's waiting to be shared. We are so grateful she's here today to share a breathwork session centered around Dharma, to help us all connect with our inner magic and wisdom.

Lecture — Heather Sanders

Producer and Director of the annual Sedona Yoga Festival in Sedona, AZ since 2013, Heather Sanders (E-RYT-200 / YACEP) has been a practitioner of yoga since 1996 and studies in the Hatha Tantra tradition. She is passionate about yoga's ability to heal and to create peace, and focuses her efforts on bringing authentic yoga to people everywhere through a variety of platforms. Her commitment to building community and offering service in the field of yoga, arts, and consciousness is reflected in decades of event and conference creation and direction, as well as program development dedicated to mentorship, civic engagement, creativity, and collaboration.
